Hello!

I am a visual artist and an educator, based in Seattle. Here are some samples of the work I do:

Visions of the Robopocalypse!, 2010

Originally conceived as a robot-building endeavor, the project later expanded into other media while embracing a variety of dark and often humorous themes. “Visions of the Robopocalypse" was a collaboration between andy peterson and the Sanctuary Art Center (SAC), a nonprofit art studio serving homeless youth and young adults in Seattle.

Attack of the Riverdancin' Robots:The end of Humanity at the hands of murderous, riverdancin' robots.
A.C.O.R.N: SAC youth participant "reconfigured" this toy. Andy responded by reconfiguring it again. It can respond to the presence of a person in the room, it speaks in a garbled language, and one arm waggles around in a pathetic way.
